- CM Storm Scout 2 - The long awaited successor to the infamous Scout is ready to be deployed! The Scout 2 follows a more round futuristic theme and features improved steel reinforced carrying handles, bolted to the core structure. The front console has been upgraded to USB 3.0 for high power charging and lightning fast file transfers, and can be hidden and protected from dusty battlefields, friendly fire and melee attacks behind a slide cover. The 1st HDD cage can now be removed, to support monster VGAs like the NVIDIA GTX 690 and AMD HD 7990, turning it into a powerful Battlestation.

| With an MSRP of $99.99 the Scout 2 does a great job of fitting a lot of great features into a small little package. The four USB connections, with two being USB 3.0, will give you great connectivity and speed with all the new peripherals on the market. If you are planning on attending a lot of LANs with this case, the top carrying handle with become very handy for you! The cult like following this case, should please the masses with Cooler Master’s new take on the Scout. | ||||

| We feel that Cooler Master did a great job with the new design of the CM Storm Scout II. From an exterior stand-point, the elegant rounded design makes this chassis stand out. The carry handle is also a notable item that makes this chassis a one of a kind for portability. The additional features of removable filters make keeping this chassis clean much easier. Our impression of the interior is that Cooler Master took customer’s concerns with the first CM Storm Scout and made it much easier to use. It is now well thought out, and has great cable management features. The Scout II also allowed for full size hardware to be installed without the typical problems that we’ve seen in other chassis of its class. | ||||

| Its a solid all rounder then from the CM Storm and one that I think is definitely going to prove popular with the gaming crowd, but even if you’re not a gamer, this is still a great chassis and it has a good selection of features, it’s not the really the cheapest chassis of this size, but your extra money gets you a lot of build quality, reliability, style and of course a very convenient carry handle. | ||||
