Highend CPU Heatsinks usually weigh less than 1KG and VGAs less than1.5KG, so even a watercooled QUAD VGA system should be good to go... if you can carry it :)

Yes, at every intake! One dust filter slides easily in and out of the back of the top of the case. The bottom holds two separate dust filters that slide out of the front and back of the bottom respectively. These bottom two dust filters catch dust from the power supply and bottom 2 x 120mm fan intakes. The 5.25" bay covers also function as removable filters. The side panels also have dust filters built-in that can be easily cleaned.

First remove the side panels. Each of the two covers is clamped to the Metal Frame with (6) hooks that have to be released by pushing them in/up. Dont force the covers off or you might break the plastic hooks, make sure all hooks are released and the covers are not clamped to the Frame before you pull them off.

There inner hight is around 482mm / 19in. A clever builder may be able to install a 480mm (Quad) watercooling radiator in the front of the case. The available width is approximately 150mm / 5.9in.

Then move/rotate each cage until its in your desired position.
Now align the three screw holes (two screws on one side and one on the other) in the cages to the holes on Troopers main body and fasten the screws again.

The plate and tray remain separate to allow users to remove the tray to install various watercooling radiators or intake fans at the bottom of the case. If the two were attached, it would leave an empty space when the hidden tray isnt installed.

| The Trooper case was an outstanding product to test and work with. There is a tonne of room available to fit as many components as a serious gaming rig needs. During game play giving the fans that extra boost really did help with the performance. From the figures alone the temperatures could be lowered a few degrees within minutes of pressing a few clicks on the front panel. As for styling and finishing this case truly is top end. It has magnificent features along with a look that could belong in Ton Starks living room. The CM Storm Trooper was faultless and anyone hesitant on buying should forget all their worries and purchase straight away. TLR award this a HUGE 10/10 and a very well deserved score. The future of CM Storm cases is something we will definitely be keeping our eye on. | ||||

My overall opinion of the CM Storm Trooper is that it’s quite simply one of the most attractive and appealing gaming cases I’ve seen in a while. With the easy-to-carry handle, brilliant fan control / lighting options, external SSD dock and the ability to install eight fans throughout the CM Storm Trooper, it’s one of the most feature-packed cases I’ve seen in a while. The design is incredible, and, to be honest, since it’s a Cooler Master case I wasn’t even surprised at how well it performed during the review. |

| As the chassis is shipped, it is already a very feature rich chassis that covers any need currently being offered in today's cases. Externally, it has a rubber coating, a seriously beefy handle, fan and lighting controls, ventilation everywhere with dust filtration and aggressive styling that makes the Trooper a pleasing chassis to use and show to your competition at LAN events. | Firstly, the outward appearance of the case is exceptional as it manages to nicely combine a clean look (through the side panels) with a more aggressive and rugged visual style seen with the top and front bezels. Traditionally I tend to prefer a cleaner looking case, but I have to admit the Storm Trooper really transcends the standard design and should appeal not to gamers and enthusiasts, but just about any type of DIY system builder. Along with the aesthetics, the Storm Trooper also includes a very robust feature set. The most unique is the two top mounted handles which serve to make the already big case easier to carry. This is going to make it easier to either haul the Storm Trooper to LAN events, or just carry it over to a friend's house. The handles are reinforced to the chassis and can support up to 95lbs. Since most cases equipped with all high-end hardware will still fall well under the maximum weight threshold, the handles should be usable regardless of the type of hardware installed inside the Storm Trooper. In addition, the Storm Trooper has ample room for high-end components. This is going to allow the user to install and transport all their extreme gaming gear, which could give them the advantage over gamers that choose to sacrifice hardware performance for a smaller and more portable rig. To be sure, while the handles are going make transporting the case easier, they are not going reduce the weight of the case; they're simply a means to give users a better grip on the case. A heavy case is still going to be a heavy case regardless of handles, and if you have a hard time carrying around heavy equipment the Strom Trooper is still going to be hard to lug around. On top of portability, the Cooler Master Storm also includes features such as damage resistant rubberized outer surfaces, an impressive top mounted control panel, support for up to 14 SSDs, ample room for all of today's largest components and accommodation for multiple water-cooling configurations. All of this makes the Storm Troop an ideal case for any gamer, and at $189 it is well below the price of other high-end cases such as the Corsair 800D or Thermaltake Level 10 GT. | ||||

| The Cooler Master Storm Trooper is a pleasure to work with. It's a very solid and high quality case, and it provides options that only $200+ cases provide in this category of cases. We can definitely see lots of creative water cooling setups and modding projects with the Trooper, and with the XL-ATX motherboard support, we wouldn't be surprised if many enthusiast gamers would use it for extreme 3 or 4-way SLI and CrossFireX systems.
