Here are the most common solutions to this problem:
1: Your system may not support current USB polling rate, please reduce it using the Sentinel Advance Tactics tool.

2: In the Windows System Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel) click on the "Mouse" Configuration Menu and browse to the "Pointer Options" tab. Make sure you set the pointer speed to medium on the speed bar, and disable "Enhance pointer precision"

3: Make sure there is no dust or dirt stuck to the bottom of the Mouse next to its sensor, and make sure the Mousepad is clean as well.
4: Try a different Mousepad or Surface. Every mouse works best on a different surface, and some Sensors dont track well on a surface that works perfectly for others.

1: Try a different USB port, preferably use a USB port on the rear of your system
2: Remove your Sentinel Z3RO-G from the System.
Open the Device Manager (Right click on "My Computer" -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager) and expand "Mice and other pointing devices"
Delete all "HID compliant mouse" entries, then re-connect your Sentinel Z3RO-G Mouse

3: Turn off your PC, remove your Sentinel Z3RO-G from the System, power up the system and only re-connect your Sentinel Z3RO-G after logging in to Windows.

With the Octoshade LEDs set to white, a white rapid fire LED flash is not available. A future firmware will work around this by allowing a different color to flash when the front lens is set to "white".

There is a known issue with some combinations of Windows Vista, Windows 7 X64 and some versions of the ATI catalyst control panel. This issue affects other software, such as the Storm Tool.
An easy way to tell if you are affected is to open the Storm Tool and look at the flames in the background of the Sentinel Advance. If you are affected, the background isnt displayed properly or missing entirely.

You may notice a difference compared to other gaming mice, since Sentinel Z3RO-G uses a Phillips twin Laser engine with two calibrated Lasers, while regular gaming mice use a single laser or optical sensor array.

The Sentinel Z3RO-G is fully plug n play compliant, which means you can connect the mouse to your PC at any given time and use it within a few seconds without installing a driver or rebooting.
There are differences between USB ports however, and the best way to connect your Sentinel Z3RO-G to your System is to plug it into a Motherboard port on the rear of your PC.

Please create a black and white only BMP file of exactly 32x32 pixels, the image cant contain any gray. Due to the orientation of the screen, the logo needs to be rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise (to the left) to display correctly on the mouse.

The mouse sensitivity setting is a Windows setting, and can not be stored or automatically configured by Sentinel Advance. Only DPI resolutions, Mouse button functionality and LED colors can be saved on Sentinel Advance itself. This means you will have to check and adjust the sensitivity setting manually on every Windows PC you connect your Sentinel Advance to.

All scripts and profiles are stored directly on the Sentinel-X Memory integrated into the Sentinel Z3RO-G. This makes it the ideal mouse for gamers who attend LAN parties or gaming tournaments which don't allow you to use your own computer. Just plug the mouse into the computer and you are ready to go. Unlike other mice there is no need to re-setup all your scripts or install any special drivers to gain full functionality of the mouse, just plug it in and you are ready to go!

The Sentinel Z3RO-G is the latest version of the Sentinel Mouse Series.
It uses the exact same Hardware as the Sentinel Advance, except for the Sentinel-X Memory which has been doubled to 128KB, allowing even more Macros to be saved on the Mouse.
Additionally Sentinel Z3RO-G is using a slightly tweaked Firmware, comes painted in stealth silver, and is bundled with Shattered Horizon in some regions, a revolutionary zero gravity FPS shooter allowing newer, more complex strategies and gameplay than conventional FPS games.
No, while the two mice are based on almost identical Hardware, you can not use Sentinel Z3RO-G Firmware on the Sentinel Advance and vice versa. Please dont attempt to flash Firmware of other mice onto your mouse as it voids your warranty and will most likely damage your mouse and render it useless.
This is a result of the same Z-Axis bug phillips laser sensors have unfortunately become famous for.
Only soft mouse surfaces are affected by this mouse pointer jump/jitter bug.
As you click a mouse button or push down on the mouse, a soft mousepad deforms slightly and the mouse sensor moves slightly closer to the surface of the pad.
This causes the sensor to think it actually moved along the surface.
To avoid this please use a hard mouse surface, or a very thin soft mousepad.
In most regions we bundle a special thin white mousepad with the Sentinel Z3RO-G to help you avoid problems like this.
